Potable Water Courses
Learn about how to make water on board, how to keep piping on board clean, prevent Legionella and much, much more. You improve the knowledge of your crew and office staff about water, water treatment and water management with our professional 2-day Potable Water Course. The Hatenboer-Water Potable Water Course is recognised by NIPH and following this excellence course provides the water knowledge to be allowed to operate in the Norwegian waters.
What to expect
Your engineers and medics learn all about water treatment and water management on board, leaving them with valuable knowledge on how to maintain a good and healthy water system. The following topics are discussed in the course:
- chemistry of water
- water maker technologies
- sampling and analysing
- water management plans
- trouble shooting
A dedicated water flow chart for maritime and offshore situations will be available and is used as a guideline throughout the course. All participants receive the very detailed Potable Water e-Handbook and a certificate.
Who should follow this course
In general, everyone involved in water treatment and/or testing, both in the maritime and offshore market. The Potable Water Course is suited for Engineers, Super Intendents, Medics, Health & Safety Managers, Asset Managers, Ship Designers etc.
