What will you do?
Preparation
• Study, assess, and discuss the assignment with Sales.
• Gather information or advice from internal or external stakeholders when needed.
• Organize and functionally lead a project team (internal and external for larger projects).
• Prepare a realistic project plan including schedule, staffing, milestones, and risks.
Execution
• Ensure a concept design and oversee its development into a final design for production and procurement.
• Ensure calculations required for the installation.
• Request quotations from suppliers, issue purchase orders, and approve specific orders.
• Maintain contact with the client, end users, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Monitor and supervise the work of internal and external parties, with attention to budget, contract requirements, and quality.
• Ensure correct project documentation (“project document control”).
• Prepare (or have prepared) the technical manual and spare parts lists.
• Identify additional work, discuss it, and ensure correct follow‑up.
• Monitor progress, adjust where necessary, and ensure cost and time accountability.
• Hand over the project to the client according to the project order.
Other tasks
• Support Sales Engineers with technically accurate quotations.
• Contribute to improvements in technology, processes, and efficiency.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the required quality standards.
Who are you?
• Experience with project management in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of (or strong affinity with) water treatment installations, materials science, and technical systems.
• Familiar with safety regulations and technical documentation.
• Coaching and connecting leadership style.
• Strong in organization, communication, and teamwork.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented, and responsible.
• Experience working internationally or collaborating across time zones.
• Good command of the English language (required for correspondence, suppliers, and documentation).
