In 2012, 106 years after the founding of Hatenboer Water, we proudly opened our first international office in the vibrant harbor of Singapore. This move marked a significant milestone in our global expansion and allowed us to better serve our growing clientele in the Asian market. A Gateway to the Asian Market
Singapore, with its rich maritime history and prime location at the crossroads of major global shipping routes, is a key hub for East-West trade and transshipment. Recognizing the importance of this bustling port, Hatenboer-Water chose Singapore as the ideal location for our first global office. Before this, we worked internationally through agents in regions like China and Southeast Asia. However, our full dependency on agents highlighted the need for a local presence to demonstrate our value more effectively. A market study confirmed this potential, leading us to establish our operations in Singapore, initially from a home office with a focus on delivering spare parts and consumables.
Demand quickly surged, prompting us to secure a strategic office where we collaborated with other Dutch companies. Over time, we expanded our services to include water analysis and local maintenance support, which resonated strongly with customers. This local approach proved successful and became a blueprint for future offices in Dubai, Houston, and now Hamburg.
12 Years of Global Reach and Local Support
Since opening, our Singapore office has become instrumental in responding to the rising demand for our freshwater systems across Asia. Our dedicated local office, which has grown to a team of eight skilled professionals, plays a crucial role in managing customer relations and providing comprehensive support. From conceptual design and engineering to manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of freshwater systems for vessels and offshore platforms. Our Singapore office is fully equipped to meet the needs of our clients, ensuring Safe Water on Board anytime and anywhere.
