As a Process Engineer, you contribute to the development, improvement, and engineering of water treatment installations. You support R&D projects both technically and administratively, and act as an important link between departments such as Purchase, Sales, Service, and Engineering. You recognize opportunities for innovation, take ownership, and ensure that designs are technically sound and practically feasible.

What will you do?
- Guide and execute R&D projects according to the R&D program
- Develop technical concept designs into final designs for Project Office, Production, and Purchasing
- Explore the supplier market and stay informed about technical innovations
- Attend conferences, trade fairs, and symposiums
- Perform system calculations for water installations
- Seek advice from suppliers, knowledge institutes (TNO, KWR, universities), and other external partners
- Request quotations and technical documentation for components or complete water systems
- Work closely with colleagues from Engineering, Purchase, Production, Service, and Sales
- Prepare technical manuals and report project progress
- Provide (process) technical support to internal departments such as Sales, Purchasing, Workshop, and Service
Who are you?
- HBO/WO degree in process engineering or similar
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Solid knowledge of water treatment installations
- Understanding of water chemistry, process engineering, materials science, and both mechanical and electrical engineering aspects
- Experience with design software for water installations
- Analytically strong, proactive, accurate, and solution‑oriented
- Strong communication skills (Dutch and English)
