• Ensure the safe mooring and unmooring of the water boat.
• Monitor navigation.
• Handle communication with onshore organizations, authorities, customers, and external parties.
• Set an example for other crew members.
• Lead and manage the crew and cargo.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, nautical regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain the vessel, including minor repairs such as rust removal, sanding, painting, deck scrubbing, and general cleanliness. Every day after sailing, you make sure the boat is in top condition for the next shift.

• You have an MBO diploma in Inland Navigation (or are willing to obtain one).
• You hold a service record book.
• You have a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one through us.
• You have a flexible attitude.
• You can travel to work independently (preferably with a driver’s license).
• You are available on weekdays and occasionally on weekends.
• You can work both independently and as part of a team.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English.
