Where in the World is Hatenboer-Water:
Rotterdam, The Netherlands

For the first in our series, “Where in the World is Hatenboer-Water,” we couldn’t help but start close to home, where the Hatenboer story began more than 100 years ago. Did you guess Rotterdam? Looking southwest, visible in the background is the famous Willemsbrug (William’s Bridge) in red, contrasting with the angular Erasmusbrug (Erasmus Bridge) further behind in light blue, both spanning the Nieuwe Maas.

Ensuring Maritime Water Safety: Hatenboer-Water’s Comprehensive Approach

Since 1906, Hatenboer-Water has been at the forefront of maritime water safety. Our journey began with water supply services  in the bustling port of Rotterdam, and over the years, we have grown to become a global leader in providing complete freshwater systems on board vessels.

A Legacy of Excellence

Our headquarters remain in Rotterdam, a nod to our beginnings over a century ago. From this central hub, we coordinate with our worldwide offices in Singapore, Houston, Dubai, and Hamburg to ensure consistent and high-quality service to our clients. Our long-standing presence in the industry speaks to our reliability and dedication to maritime water safety.

Comprehensive Solutions from Concept to Completion

At Hatenboer-Water, we understand that maritime water safety requires a holistic approach. Our services span the entire lifecycle of a vessel’s freshwater system, from conceptual design and engineering to manufacturing of reverse osmosis (RO) desalination systems, installation, service, and commissioning. Our team of experts works closely with clients to ensure that every detail is accounted for, resulting in robust and efficient freshwater systems that meet the unique needs of each vessel.

Commitment to Longevity and Reliability

The longevity of our equipment is a cornerstone of our reputation. We use only the highest quality materials and the latest technologies to manufacture our products, ensuring they withstand the rigors of maritime environments. Our commitment to durability means that our clients can rely on our systems for the long term, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

Training and Lab Analyses

We believe that proper training is essential for maintaining maritime water safety. That’s why we offer extensive training programs to our clients, ensuring that their teams are well-versed in the operation and maintenance of our systems. Additionally, our laboratory services provide critical analyses to monitor water quality, helping to prevent issues before they arise and ensuring the safety and well-being of those onboard.

Global Support and Aftermarket Services

To further support our clients, we maintain a comprehensive stock of aftermarket spares worldwide. This ensures that replacement parts are always available when needed, minimizing disruptions and keeping vessels operational. Our global presence allows us to deliver these parts quickly and efficiently, no matter where our clients are located. Our service and commissioning engineers can also be dispatched around the world to assist with installation and maintenance of components.
